Overview
This textile collection was developed in collaboration with Indian artisans practicing mud-resist block printing. Aimed at craft revival, the project reinterprets traditional techniques through a contemporary lens to connect with modern audiences. Inspired by the theme “Crossroads”, the collection reflects fleeting moments of connection and the subtle imprints they leave behind.
Approach
Traditional mud-resist techniques were adapted with modern patterns and layouts, merging heritage craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Following product development, a motion graphic was designed for a hypothetical brand to bring the collection to market, aligning the craft’s story with a refined, modern voice.
